Soak the corn husks in a bowl of warm water. In a large bowl, place the pre-made Chando’s tamale masa and let rest at room temperature for 2 hours making sure its covered.
Spread the dough out over the corn husks to 1/4 to 1/2-inch thickness (3-4 ounces of masa.
Place all your meat and vegetable fillings in separate bowls. Place two tablespoons (3-3.5 ounces) of the meat filling or roasted vegetable mix into the center.
Fold the sides of the husks in toward the center and place in a steamer folded top towards the bottom. Steam for 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
Remove tamales from husks and drizzle on top with sour cream and your favorite Chando’s freshly made salsas.
